We use the ESO platform to document our PCRs. You will have received your username and set up your password during your onboarding. Watch the presentation to know more OR click the link below to download the pdf guide.

Documenting on the move... Here are a few tips to help you get started.

When riding towards scene:

  • Login to iPad and put every person on call

  • Start to write location and pt age and chief complaint on writing pad

On scene

  • Take writing pad not iPad with you

  • Note everything down while EMT talks to pt, will help you write narrative in detail

  • Take picture of pt’s ID, Insurance card and additional documents if in Assisted living or Special School

​

Enroute to hospital

  • Note down pt vitals

  • Note down all pt info in PATIENT SECTION of ESO [Vitals, age, address, phone #] while EMT takes care of pt. This helps the EMT when they make the call to hospital.

At Hospital

  • Take iPad with you not writing pad in hospital

  • Take pt’s signature [if not take from person with pt]

  • Take signature from Nurse

​

On the way back

  • Complete rest of PCR later, when reach at building ask EMT to sign PCR so its easy for you.

BLS AED Provider Training

ACLS BLS

Being BLS (Basic Life Support) trained is important when riding on an ambulance because emergencies can change in a matter of seconds. Every crew member plays a role in providing safe, effective patient care

Being BLS certified is an important part of being in the EMS and a mandatory requirement for all members riding on a call.

 

​What you will learn:

  • The importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival

  • Recognizing the signs of someone needing CPR

  • Performing high-quality CPR for an adult, a child, and an infant

  • Performing chest compressions using correct hand placement at the correct rate and depth with chest recoil

  • How to deliver effective rescue breaths (ventilation)

  • The importance of early use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)

  • How to use an AED

  • How to relieve choking in an adult, a child, and an infant​​

Complete your registration for the HeartCode® BLS online course through the American Heart Association.

After registering, submit your purchase receipt using our General Document Submission Form.

Once you complete the online portion, download your Certificate of Completion and submit it using the General Document Submission Form.
